An incredible series, I haven’t seen anything like it in a long time—truly the best of the best, simply top-notch. Of course, as with any work of art, there are flaws and various inconsistencies, but the series is shot so well, and the idea is so originally executed that you simply don’t pay attention to various little things, or even big ones, to be honest.
The global community of critics rated this series as “not great,” but I believe their ratings don’t matter to anyone. Besides a great idea (not original, of course, but not overused either), the series has a wonderful execution of details, and many bold ideas like prayer during masturbation, religiously mystical hatred of the sighted, and a dozen others.
Therefore, to everyone who loves: high-quality shooting of brutality, unprovoked aggression, and hardcore scenes in a primitive society, immorality, and decay—it is definitely worth watching. And all of this is accompanied by an incredibly beautiful picture of wild nature and very high-quality work by the graphics artist camera operator.
